In the bog entitled "The GirEleCroc - or a lesson in creativity" the writer is making a comparison from her childhood to her daughter’s childhood. The writer’s eyes had been opened up to the point that children have an “active imagination”. Her example was when she was growing up she was instructed to color the trees green, and the sky blue. If she colored the trees purple and the sky orange; she was told that is not the way that it goes. But the author had to understand that a child’s mind can be out of the ordinary. And when they engage in their creative work we ought no to correct them, because that the only independence that they control now. Also when we correct them we tend to limit their creativity. I agree with this writer. At such a young age a child can not do much of anything on its own. Their world is filled with rules. “Don’t do this, or don’t do that or do it this way”. Their coloring, building, and drawing is the only way they have to express themselves; of how they are feeling, or who they want to be. Creativity is a major part of growing up lets not rob out young children form it.
